Facebook is an online social networking community that was originally started for college students but has since expanded to allow anyone to join. It’s become a massive network with 31 million active members. Facebook reports that half of the people on Facebook login every day and spend 20 minutes per day on the site. From the site:

How much is Facebook worth? Well, they turned down a $1.4 Billion dollar buyout offer from Yahoo recently. Ballsy.

Like many other social networking sites, Facebook access is often blocked at school or the office. However, proxy sites can be used to unblock Facebook and grant access - just be careful, the boss might be looking.
