Where do you go for hotel offers? You want to pay the lowest price, or at the very least get a good deal. Hotels often offer reduced rates through various programs, so you just have to know where some of these programs are. SeBuscaHotel.es is one such place where you can get these reduced rates on hotels - use them to find special hotel offers (oferta hoteles - it’s a spanish based site, although other translations are vailable, including english). For example, you can use the site to find hotels in over 100 countries world wide. They’ve got hotel listings for over 25,000 hotels, including barcelona hoteles and hoteles en londres, so the chances are good that you can find a discounted rate for a hotel in the city you’re staying in. Conside them when booking your hotel online!
Airport codes can be a little tricky, and sometimes even funny. You usually need them for making travel plans on travel websites, and the codes are often not obvious. Here’s a couple of my favorites:
- SUX - Sioux City Airport (they recently gave up trying to change the code after years of trying, and have instead decided to embrace it)
- GEO - Georgetown, Guyana
- COK - Cochin, India (naughty)
- SWF - Stewart International in New York
- DIE - Antsiranana in Madagascar (don’t fly there…)
- POT - Ken Jones, Port Antonio
- STD - Santo Domingo
- ACK - Nantucket
- GEL - Santo Angelo
- YAY - Saint Anthony
And here’s a couple that aren’t airport codes, and probably never should be:
- KIA
- DOA
- WTF
- OMG
- GAY
Hope you had a little fun with this post. If you want to look up airport codes by country, go here.
